Spring 2008 Workshops & Classes


            Classes - The sessions run for 8 weeks this spring and are open to any medium. Lessons
            focus on improving painting composition and exploring color theory. Class size is limited to
            10 students to allow ample time for individual instruction on technique in your chosen medium.

Options

~ Tuesday mornings 9:30 - 12:00         - March 18  - May 6
~ Tuesday afternoons 1:00 - 3:30         - March 18  - May 6
~Thursday mornings 9:30 - 12:00         - March 10 - May 8 

Tuition - $120 / eight weeks

Registration will close once a class is full, or 2 days prior to the start of class.

            Plein Air All-Media Workshop    -    Saturday,   May 3
                                                9:30AM - 4:00PM                Tuition - $60

This workshop is open to any painting medium. We will meet at the studio and drive to a location in the beautiful Schoharie Valley. Depending on the make-up of the group, the day will begin with a quick demo in either watercolor, pastel or oil. After that, each student will receive individual instruction in his or her chosen medium throughout the day. You may work on one composition or a series of small color sketches.

Bring the supplies you are comfortable working with, along with a sketchbook & pencil, stool, easel, and a bag lunch.

Registration will close two days prior to the workshop.
